̽»¨ÊÓƵ has once again ranked among the top universities in the 2018 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges. The new rankings, issued September 13, 2017, named ̽»¨ÊÓƵ 31^st as a “Best Value School,” 34^th in the category of “Best Colleges for Veterans,” and 56^th overall among institutions in the “Masters-North” category, which includes 196 schools.

̽»¨ÊÓƵ offers a wide variety of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs and is the leading provider of graduate programs in the region.

“̽»¨ÊÓƵ’s continued presence among top universities in the country confirms what we have already known about who we are,” said Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D., President of ̽»¨ÊÓƵ. “While we measure the success of our University experience in many meaningful ways, the continued diligence of our faculty, our students, our staff, and our administrators distinguishes a ̽»¨ÊÓƵ education, and our values and mission further enhance this distinctive experience.”

Colleges and universities are ranked using criteria that include peer assessment, predicted vs. actual graduation rate, student-faculty ratio, acceptance rate, and average alumni giving rate, among other factors.
