Application for entry into Year 7 at ̽»¨ÊÓƵ 

Students seeking enrolment into Year 7 at Northern Beaches Secondary College (NBSC) Manly Campus must sit for the selective schools test. Placements are offered by the NSW Department of Education high performance unit based on the results of that test.

Application for Year 7 2027

Applications for entry in 2027  will be open from 6 November 2025 to 20 February 2026.

For selective high school placement, parents and carers apply when their child is in Year 5, and can now apply when their child is in Year 6 until the end of Week 4, Term 1.

The Selective High School Placement Test Dates are Friday 1 May 2026 and Saturday 2 May 2026.

Students will need to attend one test date only.

The test has four sections; reading, mathematical reasoning, thinking skills and writing.

The outcomes for selective high school placement entry in 2027 will be available in late August 2026.
